Hullo. Missus Lady begged my pardon this morning and said she won't be joining me on the blog today. I told her my Christmas present to her is today's post. Purrrrrrrrrr.
I wandered around the backyard earlier for a few minutes. Brrrr. It's supposed to rain big-time today. That's a good Christmas gift, too. I can watch the world from the upstairs bedroom window. Purrrrrr.
My Humans are scurrying around the house, scanning shelves and cabinets, peeking into nooks and crannies, and opening boxes and drawers to find gifts for each other. This morning Missus Lady proposed that she and Hero Man exchange five gifts, to which he agreed. One gift had to be a coupon for something that costs nothing, while the other four gifts were things (not heavy nor large) that each found anywhere in the house, garage, and yards. Missus Lady says the fun and joy is in the hunt, along with the opening of surprises. Purrrrrrrrr.
A week ago, Missus Lady found a box of angel chimes among Hero Man's parent's Christmas stuff. Hero Man assembled it yesterday. Ding, ding, ding, the metal angels sing as they spin. Ding, ding, ding.
From Missus Lady, Hero Man, and Me, Molly the Cat, we wish you the Joy and Love of Christmas Spirit. Purrrrrrrrrrrrr.
P. S. I'm saying hello at Monday Mosaic, hosted by the lovely Angie of Letting Go of the Bay Leaf. Thanks, Angie!
Merry Christmas Suzieee. Enjoyed your mosiacs today

ReplyDeletePurrrrrrrrrrr. Missus Lady and Hero Man are considering a gift-giving scavenger hunt for every holiday. As long as I don't have to take part is fine by me. Purrrrrrrr.
Delete...Merry Christmas, love your angel chime!
ReplyDeleteDing, ding, ding, ding. Purrrrrrrrrrrr.
DeleteGreat winter plants.
ReplyDeleteThey make for good snuggling, tooo. Purrrrrrrrrr.
DeleteI always lose on the Xmas gift exchange. Daisy is a bit greedy.
ReplyDeletelol, Best to go after Daisy then. The pen came out before my turn, so i asked for it.
DeleteMolly - thanks for adding your purr-fect mosaics to Mosaic Monday this week! You have a lovely view from your perch. The angel chimes were a terrific find - please wish Missus Lady and Hero Man a very Merry Christmas for me!
ReplyDeletePurrrrrrrrr. I passed along the message, Angie. They had a wonderful time spending the day with good friends. I like how they came home and shared some turkey with me. Purrrrrrrrrr.
DeleteWe used to have one of those candles holders, I had forgotten about it. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHero Man posted a video of it at FB, which prompted fond memories from many of his friends. Purrrrrrrrr.
DeleteHi Molly. I hope you and your people had a good Christmas. ... And Oh my gosh Angel Chimes! Tell Mrs Lady I remember those and I wonder where ours went and who has them now. I would like to know what the four other gifts were. Stay dry and warm.
ReplyDeletePurrrrrrrrrrr. We hope you had a wonderful Christmas tiding, too. My humans rate this Christmas the Cat's Meow.
DeleteMerry Christmas, Miss Molly-by-Golly, I hope you scored lots of treats . . . and Merry Christmas to your humans too. They both are truly wonderful people. :)
ReplyDeletePurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, you know it, Widders.
DeleteOh wow, I think we had that candle thing when I was a kid. It looks so familiar...
ReplyDeleteLots of Humans have been telling me that, too. Miao.
DeleteHappy, Excellent, New Year!
ReplyDeletelove & love,
-g-
It is! Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
DeleteMolly, I think the best present would be having you around, I hope you got a nice stalk around the backyard. Your humans are very clever and creative, aren't they? My nephew, the one who says he's allergic to cats (sorry), gave me a great impulse buy from the gas station which left me a little verklempt. And I won money from Christmas scratchers (also from the gas station). Scratchers, ha, they make a great gift for both you and me.
ReplyDeleteI love chimes, ding, clang, tinkle, clunk. Dang, they got blown off the railing again.
Miao, miao, miao, Jeanna. The icy cold mornings don't keep me from walking the perimeter to make sure all is well. Rain does. That's happening today. My Humans are home so I don't mind hanging indoors. But I wish they'd do something about the boxes of books all over the place. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
