Jane Austen, Oxymoron Phrase Analyst?

"Oh, my," said Jane Austen, Action Doll, wiping chalk from her forehead.

"I like the idea of doing an occasional silent scream in my rock garden. And, to take a mud bath as I consider an impossible solution sounds wonderful."

"Who wouldn't love the image of a group falling into a deafening silence after hearing the idle gossip?"

Jane set the piece of chalk down on the table. "It is a sure bet being an oxymoron phrase analyst is not for me!"

My theme for this year's challenge is Jane Austen, Action Doll, Seeks a New Career.

  1. So...finally, I am here and ready to follow Jane Austin on all her exploits and to see where she has been. I have some reading to do but I’m all for it:) I never thought of it but Jane is right on the money with all these oxymorons. I have used many of these myself.

    1. Hi, Birgit. Enjoying the April Challenge? I've been working the participants list backwards. I think I reached the halfway mark. I think I say a lot of oxymorons without realizing it.

  4. As a Jane probably knows, being a writer, they occasionally come in handy, but modern society suffers from an overabundance of them. :)
