Having Fun with Photoshop

I like my Canon PhotoShot A1200, a gift from the Husband a couple of birthdays ago. It doesn't take images as sharp as I'd like, but then it could be just me. My ability to maintain steadiness as I click isn't what it used to be. Still, I wonder what results could I get if I had a digital SLR. Until then, I shall have fun with Photoshop. Below is the original shot of Mr.  Robin.

Today, I'm linking up with Wordless Wednesday. Click here to check out the works of other participants.

    1. "Vintage"...hmm, I like that. It does remind me of those old calendars.

  4. Isn't it amazing what you can do with a camera and a computer? I have a Canon Powershot (a gift from my sister a few years back) and love it. Takes pretty clear pix, even through glass, but I confess to envying newer models with greater zoom ability. Thanks for visiting my "dainty" paws! ☺

    1. Yup. I love the fact that I can experiment without worrying about the cost of developing photos.

  5. It brings that little tweeter, right up there. He's really taking a bath, too.

    1. He was having so much fun, a splishing and a splashing. I was surprised because it was very late in the afternoon and cold.

  7. Little bird: "There is ice in my bathwater? Pah! I splash in my icy bathwater!"

As for the shaky hand? ... If you have a walking stick with you perch the camera on top, see if that helps.

  8. Love it! Looks like a nice piece of art. The filters in Photoshop and phone camera apps are simply addictive!

  9. I love this photograph, and it looks like a painting with the effects you applied. Good job!

    1. Thanks, Julia. This may be one way of saving photos that I like but are out of focus. The other day I took a blurry one of a chicken who crossed its feet. I like the attitude that chicken showed.
