Having Fun with Photoshop

I like my Canon PhotoShot A1200, a gift from the Husband a couple of birthdays ago. It doesn't take images as sharp as I'd like, but then it could be just me. My ability to maintain steadiness as I click isn't what it used to be. Still, I wonder what results could I get if I had a digital SLR. Until then, I shall have fun with Photoshop. Below is the original shot of Mr.  Robin.

Today, I'm linking up with Wordless Wednesday. Click here to check out the works of other participants.

Wordless Wednesday: A Mind Metaphor

This is how I think my mind looks (the cabinet, that is) when you look at me: Blank.

This is how I think my mind looks like a lot of the times: Disorder!

This is how I think my mind looks like when it really should be taking care of business: La, la, la, la.

Wordless Wednesday: What's That on the Hill?

What do you see standing on top of the hill?

A choo-choo train?

A Viking ship?

The hookah-smoking caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland?

That's what I saw as I was pedaling along the road this afternoon.

I'm hopping around at Wordless Wednesday today. It's a great place to find a lot of new bloggers. Check it out.

Another Wordless Outdoor Wednesday

Setting: The Monterey Peninsula. It was a very windy afternoon. It's a wonder, we didnt' fly away. Suddenly we're in fog, then suddenly we're not.

Today, I'm blog hopping at Wordless Wednesday and Outdoor Wednesday. Come join me and check out photos of other bloggers. I know you want to.

"A Poem Lovely as a Tree"

San Juan Bautista is the next town over to where we live. And, in that darling mission town is where you will find these trees. What kind of trees are they? How old are they? That's what I want to find out.

These photos are my contributions to this week's Wordless Wednesday and Outdoor Wednesday. Click on over to each site for more contributions on its theme. That is, after you check out mine. :-)

The Mama's Garden of Joy!

Another Wordless and Outdoor Wednesday

Clippity clop, clippity clop. Earlier this summer, the husband and I watched the  Horse Show and Rodeo parade that takes place in our town every year. While waiting for the parade to start, I aimed my camera at the sky. Snappity snap. This was my favorite shot.

If you'd like to see photos of the parade, clickity click here to be taken to my Take 25 to Hollister blog.

Wordless and Outside Wednesday

I like it when the husband drives. I hang out the car window, like a happy puppy, clicking away at the scenery. As we were driving home the other evening, the fog was starting to roll over the hills. Click!
