In my mind, I'm five years old having a high old time wandering and wondering. In reality, I'm now 70, wowza! I tell you a lot of creativity is still to be found in this old young self. In you, too, whatever your age. Welcome to my barefoot world!

The caterpillar does all work but the butterfly gets all the publicity.
It kind of bugs me (hurr hurr) that Carlin made that quote. A down-to-earth realist saying that irks me a little. He should very well know the caterpillar and the butterfly are one in the same.
Well you got me, Adam. I don't ever think of caterpillars being the same butterflies. To me they are distinct creatures, but they aren't. Another amazing wonder of nature.
The Monarchs' trip is another amazing wonder of Nature to me. How many generations go by between the one who left the family winter resort and the one who arrived at their summer resort.
In our yard, yes. This morning, we saw two whites, one small spotted brown, and a rather tiny brown flitting about the butterfly bush at the same time. I may be turning our front and back yards into the fields full of butterflies I wandered as a kid.
A lovely colourful photo, the butterfly and daisies look really pretty :)
