Craziness

Warning, warning, Will Robinson. I'm musing about the state of our union today. Don't read any further than this paragraph, if that stuff gives you the hiccups.  For you, I have instead the above crazy photo that I painted with Photoshop art filters.  Can you find the face in the tree trunk?

Onward. . .

Craziness is in the air. A lot of it today, if we are to believe the old-fashioned press, not subjective media (left or right).  And, I do believe the honest reporting that is out there.

What do you think: The guy who is supposed to be the President of the United States, a Putin puppet?

Did it bug you that trump believes Putin didn't fiddle with the 2016 presidential election because Putin said he didn't? What about all the contrary findings in Robert Mueller's investigation?

Is trump a Traitor?

Also, do you still have faith that the Republican leaders in Congress are for us little guys?

Do you ever think that trump's MAGA is really Make America Great Russian Territory? You ready to learn Russian?

Am I coming across like Chicken Little, "The sky is falling!"?

Good luck to us all.

  1. Nope, you're right there with us. We've known for a while that the Russian tampering happened in the election. Now there's proof. Donald the Terrible is either compromised or senile. My vote is compromised. But, you know, my vote won't count due to election tampering...

Don't even get me started. I feel like I've been screaming for nearly two years now.

    1. I don't want trump to be senile. It makes for a perfect excuse for him doing what he's doing to our country. I suppose someone has explained it to me already and I'm not accept it, but I don't see why we have to wait for the Republicans to start the impeachment process. Better yet, the removal process.

  2. You are absolutely right. It is so obviousl I think Putin is blackmailing him. I do see that some of the Republican congresspersons are actually 'chastising' him after this latest .... although most of them are ones that aren't running again.... a few of those who are need to grow a couple .....

Thanks for this -- if I were a better writer I'd say something myself.... my blog always sounds like I'm some dimwitted Pollyanna who doesn't even read the news. Sometimes I wish I were.

    1. I agree with you. Corker, Flake, McCain, the guys who are leaving have nothing to lose so they have the guts to say something. That's maddening. I don't think Putin is blackmailing trump. I think he goes willingly into Putin's den. trump probably feels like one of the big boys when he's with Putin.

I feel that way too, at times, being a Pollyanna. I don't think of her as being dimwitted, simply looking for the silver lining to things. Nothing wrong with that. Pollyanna did stand up for things, look how she went to the bazaar anyway. I think I could do a PHd thesis on Pollyanna. I wonder if anyone has.

  4. I’m back! I was in Vancouver and the Rockies and then helping my friend, moving. As for Trump...he met with Putin behind closed doors to make sure he will not be uncovered for the fraudulent, narcissistic, jerk who took from Russia to get ahead and now he is Putin’s puppet. Putin was a former KGB agent who was ruthless and knew how to get ahead. He is one we need to be watching and his eyes are set to get into the country by using this baby moron.

    1. Helloooooo, Birgit! Hope you had lots of fun in the West. They probably needed the 4 hours alone so Putin could teach his dog new tricks. Jump through the hoop, Dawnold. I think we should fly baby trump balloons from all the flagposts. Maybe baby putin ones too. Grrrrr.

  5. most thoughtful people who studied WW2 and Hitler are worried about the state of the union. Most people who care about people are worried. It's beyond my comprehension how this has come to pass. I care about people... oy vey.

    1. We need to elect officials who care about people, not money. Silly me thinking that's why people run for office.

  6. Russian banks bailed the orange cheeto out when he went bankrupt all those times, so, yep, Vlad owns his ass.
I suspect that rather than take direct action, the people who actually have the power to do anything, are waiting until the mid-terms and hope the 'electorate' will defang him for them.

    1. I want to know who the actual sick and disgusting people with power are in our country. I hope karma sticks them big time, taking all their money and power away. Don't I sound like a little naive kid.
