Summer is time for sunflowers to grow over our heads. |
Summer is for less time on the computer. |
Summer is time for the Husband to get his hair cut. |
Summer is for playing outside—pretending to be all sorts of things, including a super muscle man with his terry cloth cape. |
Today is time to hook up with All Seasons, a weekly meme hosted by Jesh of Artworks from Jesh StG. To check out other participants, please click here. Thank you, Jesh.
What a wonderful post of summer and love . . . this is the 50th anniversary of the summer of LOVE, though, these postings show how you and "the husband" live this daily. XOXO
ReplyDeleteDiane, you're sweet. Yes, I know this is you. Had to go find out who unknown is.
DeleteThanks so much Susie for your comment, and I think it was your intention to link up to All Seasons, but you didn't (lol) - at least, I didn't see one of the pics of this post ...ete. Please add it for me - much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteSo, you cut you hubby's hair - tell him, "Ten years off, at least!" It looks like he takes it all in stride:):)
You've described the Husband perfectly, Jesh. As he puts it, he's a happy camper. :-)
DeleteYes, thank you Susie for sharing the fun summer play in your back yard with All Seasons community! Super-heroes-all-the-way this week!
ReplyDeleteWe watched Wonder Woman yesterday. What a grand movie!
DeleteOk...wowzers to seeing your hubby with short hair ad almost clean shaven! I don't recall seeing him like this. My hubby shaved his head to almost nil a few weeks back and I was bummed...he has beautiful black hair at 60! Molly seems to be content
ReplyDeleteI cut his hair and yet I still get surprised when I look over at him and see his summer look. I like the touseled look myself. He said it was getting hard to comb. I get that. Yesterday I cut off several inches of my own.
DeleteWhat a wonderful summery collection of memories. I bet Molly was glad the scissors never came near her. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's still me but I have no idea how my whole blog address turned up. The interwebz in weird today.
DeleteOn very hot days, I've wondered if Molly would like a little haircut. :-)
DeleteThe haircut cracked me up! - Your hubby sounds like a fun guy. Loved your kitty too.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got a cheery smile from the post. :-)
DeleteWonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anne!
DeleteSummer is a wonderful time of year for all kinds of reasons, including the ones that you mention! Having fun is what keeps us young at heart!
