Heartily, I say.
Rain. We have been getting lots of heavenly rain since March began and it ought to continue through the whole month. It surely is helping the lessening (such a word?) of our drought.
Blue skies. The kind that comes after a rain. Delightful.
Fruit trees in bloom. Beautiful! Totally. That's the Asian pear tree in the Mama's backyard. If all goes well, we many have another good crop this year.
And, green! It's emerald green all over.
We truly are blessed.
Today, I'm sharing with Our World Tuesday and a new meme called Seasons, hosted by Jeanette at St. Germain's Blog. Take a look at both, why don't you?
Great photos - I especially like the first one, that tree coming into bloom looks lovely :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Eunice!
DeleteThank you so much for being a part of Seasons, Susie! Yes, love the green after the rain! So fresh, and the best green to click the camera:) Since the mountains are still relatively new to me, have to get used to the little creeks swelling up to rivers. Of course a flood at 3000 feet is very unlikely:) Hope to "see" you back next week (or before, haha!)
ReplyDeleteYou never know, Jeanette. Flash floods could happen anywhere. Take care up there.
DeleteYippee for your rain and hopefully the ending to the drought. The emerald green in that last shot is so so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYaaay! We're having a rain day today. Supposed to have thundershowers this evening.
DeleteIt must have been wonderful to have the rain and your mom must have been over-joyed. I love both pictures but especially the last one since it is so green. Compared to your earlier pictures with everything ...not so green, this just shows how wonderful nature truly is.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Birgit! Until last week, the green looked like it was starting to fade. Today, it's very green to me. Probably an optical illusion, but that's okay with me.
DeleteRain and greenery - how lovely!
ReplyDeleteYup, yup, yup!
DeleteI was so happy to read about the rain in your part of the world. It would be lovely to think that this year might bring a little more for you.
ReplyDeleteThe Mama loves that the front lawn has returned to full, vibrant green. All on its own. Even the holes filled out. Dandelions and other not-so-good plants have embedded themselves into the lawn, which I pull out nearly every morning. Good exercise for me. :-)
DeleteSo glad to hear you drought is being rained upon! :)
ReplyDeleteWhoooo-hoooo!
DeleteIt is lovely and green looking. What a pretty view you had.
ReplyDeleteI did my bike route that morning to include this view. One of my favorite views.
Deletewe are in our dry season but we had a couple days of rain this month. Our rainy season begins around June
