It looks like a painting - lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dragonstar. I enlarged a section of the original photo.
DeleteSo much like an impressionistic watercolour painting. Enchanting.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteVery artistic! Wonderful mood!
ReplyDelete:)
Thanks.
DeleteVery nicely presented.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from BLACK AND WHITE WEEKEND.
FRANKLY MY DEAR
Susie,
ReplyDeleteIf you hadn't mentioned the telegraph pole, I might have mistaken it for a cross. To me, the photo feels dark and moody. Maybe something is brewing. Probably rain!
I thought cross, too, when I saw it on the computer screen. So, I cropped this part from the photo, enlarged it, and played with the shadows. I gave up thinking it was a cross when it obviously was not.
DeleteSuperb composition.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rajesh.
DeleteFine composition in your b&w photo. You have captured a somber mood.
ReplyDeleteThank you. That's what I was hoping to capture.
DeleteWonderful picture! Looks like a watercolour painting, indeed!
ReplyDeleteThanks, LonettA. I was wondering if a watercolor could be in black and white.
DeleteThis is quite compelling and remind me of an old film called Vampyr-A Danish semi-silent film about vampires. Excellent photo
ReplyDeleteThank you. I love the word "compelling". I ought to do another version with a bat flying through. We do have bats around here.
DeleteLovely arty effect. I like it!
ReplyDeleteCool!
DeleteAlmost like a painting.
ReplyDeleteI like it.
Have a nice day.
Mormor
I'm glad you like it. I think it's because I cropped a small part of a photo and kept cropping and enlarging until I was satisfied.
DeleteI looks like a cross lost in a vast landscape! Very, very good!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jill.
ReplyDeletethe rainy window works great as a texture :)
