I'm hooking up with The Weekend in Black and White. Click here to check out B&W photos by bloggers from around the world.
My photo turned out so stark that I played around with the artistic filters in Photoshop. I like these looks the best. What do you think?
With the plaster filter |
With the cut out filter |
I like your first photo best, it speaks of winter.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dragonstar.
DeleteThe cut out filter is very, very cool. Looks like a piece of art.
ReplyDeleteI like that one, too. It would make a cool card.
DeleteLooks like the two top blackbirds are expecting the lower bird to say something. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteMaybe, "Where shall we go for breakfast?"
DeleteGreat b&w post, nice edit!
ReplyDeleteMy post at: https://hanshb.wordpress.com/
Thanks, Hans!
DeleteI like the cut out filter too.
ReplyDeleteCool. :-)
DeleteThe starkness of winter is beautifully captured - especially in the first and second photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gemma.
DeleteNice shot.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from BLACK AND WHITE WEEKEND.

ReplyDeleteCool B&W series! I like the edit in the third one!
ReplyDelete:)
Thank you!
DeleteThe 3rd one has a nice graphic quality.
ReplyDeleteI thought so, too. There's so much I haven't explored yet of Photoshop.
DeleteReminds me of that Paul McCartney song that starts something like, ... 'blackbird singin' in the dead of night ...'
ReplyDeleteYes! I can hear it now.
DeleteI love all 3! They are so unique that actually I thought you created a card! You could send these out as cards!!!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm, Birgit. You got me thinking about putting them in my Zazzle shop.
Deletecool, the cut out is my favourite. If you liek to do artsy stuff you might be interested in my art meme? NF DAM. The coming week is an optional theme Winter. Opens wednesdays. Welcome to check it out.
