I was so intensely busy the last two months that I'm finding it difficult switching into rest mode, or simply a slow-going pace. I feel like I ought to be doing something productive. Not doing big things such as repainting the garage door or writing my family history. No. It's more like the other day when I rolled up nearly a hundred bucks in pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters or like today when I did an editing sample that was not requested.

If this is my rest mode, well, good for me. :-)

  1. Hello,
Some people always feel the need to be doing something, even little things. The view in the photo looks hazy, I hope no one runs through the stop sign. Take care, have a great day!

    1. I had no idea what that handmade sign said until I looked at my photo on the computer. Someone has a wicked sense of humor, or no sense of irony. lol

  2. I know the feeling. You hereby have my permission to do nothing today. Turn on the TV, sit, and watch something mind-numbing. Eat popcorn. Sleep. It's totally okay.

    1. Thanks, Liz. I've been getting up earlier the past few days, so get a bunch of stuff done before 10:30. The rest of the day is spent in nothingness,

    1. It's amazing how much change adds up. Literally and figuratively.

  4. Su-sieeemac - I get you. On Sunday, when it was so smoky here, I cleaned out my email inbox - over 500 messages DELETED. A silly sense of satisfaction ensued! Enjoy the rest of your week, rest or not!

    1. It certainly can be, especially when there seems to be no end to the nothing. :-)

    1. I really ought not complain about doing nothing. I'm seeing a lot of things that can be done around me.
