Wee, Wee, Wee, All the Way Home!

This is one of the Barnyard Races at our county fair last month. The cute piggies soared around the track. If you blink, you miss them running by you.

  1. usual at fairs now they have some type of races. One time I seen sheep race and monkeys were the jockeys.

    1. A monkey jockey would make an interesting character for a picture book.

  2. Squeeeee (not Brett Kavanaugh's pal). I remember something about pigs racing for Oreos at the State Fair, it was pretty amusing. A win win.

    1. No oreos were thrown around this racetrack. I wonder what then was the incentive to get the pigs to run.

  3. I thought they were dogs! I wonder what was used as a carrot.

    1. That's what I'm wondering now, Colleen. I hope it was something good.

  4. The piggies look so cute :) They very often have things like that at country fairs here, very often sheep with stuffed dolls tied to their backs as 'jockeys'. :)

  5. omg pigs! They are not meant for racing, they're meant to stand around with curly tails and push their widdle snouts against my hand!!!

    1. A few years back, the pigs jumped hurdles in one race. It was amazing. Pigs do fly! I'm glad though that this outfit didn't do that.
