Day 77 with Tilda-Hilda

This morning I took Tilda-Hilda out on a spin because I wanted to get some early morning photos that I might use for my other blog, Take 25 to Hollister. I caught a scene that I liked, which is here.

Tilda-Hilda and I pedaled through some of Hollister's original residential neighborhood and then out towards new development. All in all, we traveled about five miles.  It felt wonderful being out in the crispy Autumn morning.

By the way, Tilda-Hilda is posing in front of the high school where I went. San Benito High School. Haybalers, aka Balers, are us!

    1. I never thought of it that way before, G, but you're quite right. I did develop a very strong, positive foundation from my 4 years there.

  2. This is a great photo with the shading of the trees. Your High School is so much nicer looking than mine. I love that balcony-could you go on it when you were there?

    1. Thanks. I think this building was erected in the early 1920s. It's now used as an administrative building. During my time, the second floor was mostly for science and math classes. The balcony was closed. Now and then, students were allowed up there for photo opps for the yearbook.

  3. What a lovely old building. (Excuse the old. lol) How exhilerating to be pedaling around town
in the early hours. It must remind you of when you had to get up early to go to school. Ahhh, the good old days.

    1. Maybe if we had lived in town. I would've liked that. We lived a few miles outside of town, so I caught the bus to school. Funny, I had a dream last night that I missed the bus.

    1. High 30s now. We could possibly get snow on the mountains when it rains.
