"Someone ate all the bean sprouts," the Mama said in April.
"The birds ate them," I suggested. The Mama looked at me like "Yeah, right."
The other day I was in the garden with Molly the Cat. I learned something new about Molly. She likes the taste of bean leaves. Purrrrrrrrr.
I guess it is better than her eating grass. Irina does that and then throws up if she eats too much. I try to discourage her from it, but there is something super exciting about her eating it I guess.
ReplyDeleteGrass is good for cats. Helps their tummy somehow. Sometimes Molly the Cat consumes too much grass and burps some up. Check below what Birgit says about it.
DeleteCats love grass and it is there way to get rid of the hair they lick off that can sit in their stomach. Molly looks very happy eating the leaves and her eyes match their colour
ReplyDeleteI thought that would be a cool color for a dress for her if she were to wear one.
DeleteSusie,
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful photo of Molly. We discovered our dog Nora likes to eat banksia flowers. As we're walking through the bush, she suddenly leaps up to grab them. We have to race her past all the bushes!
The dilemma Nora must have for a moment as she's rushing past the delicious flowers. LOL
DeleteWhat a ferocious stare - NO-ONE eats mah beanz 'cept me! :)
ReplyDeleteHer looks alternate between "Aren't I just adorable" and "Growwwwwwwwl, don't mess with me." Molly is sooooooo cute.
