The Mama's apple trees have few blossoms this year, probably due to the severe drought we're in. We can only hope the trees will make it through the drought.
Today, I'm participating in The Weekend in Black and White, hosted by the delightful Dragonstar. It's been awhile. To see B&W works by other participants, please click here.
Your photo is lovely, full of texture and the feeling of spring. I hope the trees survive.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dragonstar. I'm thinking they may be able to eke through this year. I'd be very surprised if they have any fruit.
DeleteThis photo is lovely but has some sadness since you have fewer blossoms. I hope, one day it will just rain and rain and rain
ReplyDeleteThanks, Birgit. Me, too. Last Friday, or was it Thursday, we had almost 24 hours worth of intermittent Spring rainfall (intermittent -- I'm surprised that one fell out of my head). Enough so I won't be watering the flowers today. Sundays and Tuesdays are the days we're allowed to do so.
DeletePretty and delicate flower! Delicious picture in B&W !!
ReplyDelete:-) Thank you.
DeleteThanks, Hans.
ReplyDeleteThis New World (climatic) Order is going to change a great many things ... but not the quality of Susieee Mac's B&W photos!
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteVery pretty! Interesting texture.
ReplyDeleteI think it's the blossom's colors that translate to texture when the photo is in B&W.
