Bra Time

Names have been changed because I just don't remember them anymore.

"Need any help, Bea," a grey-haired woman said heartily, from the doorway of the Friends of the Library Bookstore.

"Laurie, good to see you, darling," said the elderly Bea, turning from the bookshelves. "You're not scheduled for today."

"I know," Laurie said, walking into the shop. "I had to come down town to pay bills and return books. Since I had to put on a bra, I thought I'd stop by and do a couple of hours if you could use me."

Both women laughed. I laughed, too, from the side of the room. Yup. I could hardly wait to get home and take my bra off.

I'm participating in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge this month. To check out other participants, click here. See you tomorrow.

  1. I cannot say I relate personally to these circumstances.

  2. Yes that contraption that I can't wait to sling off and feel free. They are needed but so happy when they are taken off. Funny that most women wear the wrong size

    1. I finally paid attention and got the right size for me. I don't know why I waited so long to do it. Right size is more comfortable.

  3. Hahaha, I totally understand. Hilarious post. Happy A to Z.

  4. I got nothing! But looking forward to seeing what you do all month.

  5. HAHAHA too funny. Thank you for the laugh.

  6. LOL. Bras - what contraptions they are. There is a National Bra-less Day or something like that..Can wear a sports top or something instead.

  7. There is no better pleasure than removing an ill fitting bra! Great to follow and connect through A to Z

    1. Thanks for dropping by, Comley Charlotte. I shall be coming by shortly.

  8. I like to go braless at home but really shouldn't as I somehow got other peoples share aswell as my own. I live on a rural property so when we have unexpected visitors arrive, all they see is me running off down the bedroom like a shot to throw my over the shoulder boulder holders on!

  9. hahahaha. You described my run up the stairs perfectly.
