In my mind, I'm five years old having a high old time wandering and wondering. In reality, I'm now 70, wowza! I tell you a lot of creativity is still to be found in this old young self. In you, too, whatever your age. Welcome to my barefoot world!

Pelican in the Front Yard
Cool pelican, don't you think?
His head? I have no idea what happened to it.
He's requesting a sparkle-sparkle body. The better to show off his plumage, so he says. Only then will he reveal his name. Giggle.
Haha, it does look like a carrot. That's the basket handle all naturally bent out of shape. I did paint the beak this morning. Cookies, yummm. I've been thinking about making lemon cookies. Maybe tomorrow if it rains.
Is that a fresh carrot beak? I love it! This picture made me smile since I'm getting cabin fever from staying in today. Although I did make cookies.

ReplyDeleteThis Spring is shaping up to be the year of painting stuff in the yard.
ReplyDeleteOK. We all need spring and summer, quick, before they bring out the white straitjackets for all of us!
ReplyDeleteJust a little bit longer, Angie. I'd be willing to trade our sunshine for some of your weather. You may not want ours right now, it's raining. :-)
DeleteCheeky soon-to-be-sparkly pelican!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking glitter grey/pink. :-)
DeleteVery elegant.
DeleteNow this is a pelican! I love the long beak which looks like a carrot.great way to showcase a pelican and flowers
ReplyDeleteThanks, Birgit. You know what this means. There's going to be a lot of painting of stuff in the front yard, once the rain is over.
