Life is Grand

"I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things of life
which are the real ones after all."

  1. She was so right. Are we eating flower petals out of our birdbath today?

    1. It does look like a petal, but that Missy Molly's sweet red tongue. I wonder if the birds sip off this plate, which I'm debating on whether turning into a feeder plate for the birds or paint to become part of a border.

  2. Hi Su-sieee. Thanks for visiting me at Pictorial Tuesday Link Up. I hope you downloaded the Color Bar free action. It should be able to be used in other photo software besides Adobe, but the author might tell that on her site at The Coffee Shop Blog. Love the kitty photo, and a perfect quote to go with it. :)

    1. Thanks! I haven't yet, Pea bea. I use a very old version of Photoshop, so if it's compatible, I will.

  7. My vote's to keep it as a birdie wading pool ... although if you do maybe put a few rocks in it, so the wee things don't slide about too much on the edges of the shiny surface.
I too, wondered if it was a petal Miss Molly was sniffing then I realised it was her tongue a'lapping. :)

    1. This was the day that Molly chased the orange tabby out of the front yard and stared down the plastic flamingo. The birdies could use a wading pool in the back, especially during summer. Just need to find a perfect spot for it.

  9. I was raised a "dog" person but now I love cats more. We travel too much to have a pet right now. Maybe later. - Margy

    1. Before it was making sure the Mama was okay that kept us from traveling far. Now, it's Molly, so we say. When it comes down to it, our traveling feet aren't as itchy as they used to be.
