Delightful Curb Appeal

The items for this week's Friday Hunt, hosted by Teresa of Eden Hills are:
1) Starts with D.
2) Week's favorite.
3) Beautiful.

For me, they all came together in this reflection of tree branches in a puddle of water near our public library. I didn't find anything I wanted to read in the New section. Any disappointment I had was quickly wiped out when I saw this reflection.

  2. It would be a good illustration for a mystery novel.
I know the disappointment of nothing good to read in the 'new' section!

    1. It was sprinkling at the moment, which I guess gave it the fractured look. I have a point and click so I usually don't know what I've got until I see the photos on my computer screen.

  4. I love the picture, Susie. Really neat. I get reflections too though don't post many. Today I was photographing my 2016 calendar collection, covers and some innards, and I noticed there was a reflection of the ceiling fan rotating, there in the granite background.

    1. Thanks, Teresa. It's just as well I didn't find anything that day. I have a pile of bought books yet to be read. I'm a greedy reader. :-)

  10. Gosh, you have such a great eye to see things where most people just walk over or by. I love this! It looks like the left side was just cut with scissors.

    1. "cut with scissors" -- I like that image. I see a Paul Bunyan hand with scissors cutting away.

    1. There were also reflections of house tops. I would've had to go in the middle of the street to get a good photo of them. :-)

  13. Susie, That is a great shot. It's nice that it is not perfect and has a lot of texture to the image. Sylvia D.

    1. I'm reading a Maggie Hope mystery by Susan Elia MacNeal, from a to-read-later pile of books on my dresser. I'm glad now that I didn't find anything then.
