I love the black and white landscapes.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I feel like I've entered another dimension when I look at B&W photos. Both the Husband and I looked at this photo and weren't sure where we were.
DeleteLately I've thought it fine to look at a photo in color - then in sepia and/or black and white . . .
ReplyDeleteIt's a treat for the mind, kinda . . .
I know what you mean. I was a teenager when the parents got a colored TV. It was weird to see things in color, even though I was seeing color every day.
DeleteLike it. Have a nice day.

Cool! Same to you, Mormor.
DeleteSo many tones - very good.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment - I have added a colour version.
I'm glad to hear that you noticed the different shades. That's what I was going for. Thanks.
DeleteOh yes, I agree. Fresh air and the scent of outdoors. Very nice portrait and view.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dragonstar. :-)
DeleteCool!
ReplyDelete:)
outside is good. Especially if nature is good too. :)
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteThanks, Rajesh.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Robert.
ReplyDeleteOh I do so agree. I have been spending as much time outdoors as I can lately. Great photo!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura. If I can't be outdoors then I want the windows wide open.
DeleteThe solid dark cap creates a great contrast for the sublter shades of the countryside. Lovely photo.
ReplyDeleteGreat black and white image-the background looks like a painting actually
