N is for Naysayer

Brrrrrrrrrrrr.

Temperatures have been dipping into the 30s and 40s the past month. Ha! So what! says this blooming rose in the Mama's garden.

Head over to Alphabe-Thursday, hosted by Jenny Matlock, to read other N posts.

  1. It is almost like a reminder that spring and warm weather will return. This is my favorite color of rose.

  2. Oh Su-sieee,
I love that rose, I love that color. You'll get my love but not my sympathy ...... perhaps for the rose, but not for you. Today our temp is supposed to reach the 30's and I've been looking forward to it for 2 weeks. But then it always snows again and again and again. Tell me why I live here???? Roots I guess. And it kills out the bugs or puts them in a frozen suspension or what ever happens to most bugs.
    Love and peace xo xo

  4. Oh yes, bring on the spring please. Only I fear we must still wait a while yet, it's only January after all.
    Beautiful picture

  5. That is a beautiful rose! One of my favorite colors. It reminds me that I have some pruning to do, though.

  8. Tracy, you are so right!

JDaniel4's Mom: I don't know how many times I've gone by that bush without noticing the roses. Must be better about taking the time to look around.

    Gattina, yep!

Manzi, you sweet gal. I'll take my weather and climate every time. :-)

    Sue, yes, indeed!

marisworld: thank you. Even though chilly, the rose makes me forget we are in winter.

Judie, hello. Glad the rose reminded you. :-)

Paige, thanks, my favorite color, too.

  10. I think the rose is saying, "I dare you to try and diminish my vibrancy! Bleh on you Mr. Winter!"

    But that's just me!

Thanks for such a beautiful photo to make us smile on our little journey through Alphabe-Thursday's letter "N".

    This was a nifty post.

    A+
