In my mind, I'm five years old having a high old time wandering and wondering. In reality, I'm now 70, wowza! I tell you a lot of creativity is still to be found in this old young self. In you, too, whatever your age. Welcome to my barefoot world!

Brrrrrrrrrrrr.
Temperatures have been dipping into the 30s and 40s the past month. Ha! So what! says this blooming rose in the Mama's garden.
Head over to Alphabe-Thursday, hosted by Jenny Matlock, to read other N posts.
Oh Su-sieee, I love that rose, I love that color. You'll get my love but not my sympathy ...... perhaps for the rose, but not for you. Today our temp is supposed to reach the 30's and I've been looking forward to it for 2 weeks. But then it always snows again and again and again. Tell me why I live here???? Roots I guess. And it kills out the bugs or puts them in a frozen suspension or what ever happens to most bugs. Love and peace xo xo
A beautiful blessing
ReplyDeleteIt is almost like a reminder that spring and warm weather will return. This is my favorite color of rose.
ReplyDeleteA miracle it's still there !

ReplyDeleteJDaniel4's Mom: I don't know how many times I've gone by that bush without noticing the roses. Must be better about taking the time to look around.

Manzi, you sweet gal. I'll take my weather and climate every time. :-)
Sue, yes, indeed!
marisworld: thank you. Even though chilly, the rose makes me forget we are in winter.
Judie, hello. Glad the rose reminded you. :-)
Paige, thanks, my favorite color, too.
Brave rose! Maybe it knows something about spring.....
ReplyDeleteBloom on, you brave naysayer!
ReplyDeleteI think the rose is saying, "I dare you to try and diminish my vibrancy! Bleh on you Mr. Winter!"
ReplyDeleteBut that's just me!
