Molly's #20 Post

Miao, miao. How is everyone?

It has been raining. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

The sun pops up now and then. When it does, Missus Lady and I go outside or she leaves the back door open so I can slip out if I am so inclined. Nice human, she is.

On Saturday morning, Missus Lady got it into her head to put some of her toys in the puddle that likes to grow on the patio whenever it rains. Silly human, she is.

I heard her and Hero Man talking about putting some thing on the patio so she can put up dioramas that wouldn't be in anyone's way. If the thing had drawers, they could be pulled out and converted into planters, suggested Hero Man. Whatever it is, Missus Lady said, it would need to be stained so it can withstand the weather for a couple of years. Whatever it is, I hope I can climb up on it and take a snooze. Miao.

Miao, miao. Missus Lady reminded me to tell everyone, "Hello, hello!" She apologizes for having not responded to comments on the last post. She shall over the next two days. The gorgeous weather the last week or so distracted her thus she is behind in a bunch of things. (The photos below are from the post she started and discarded last week.) She thinks that the rainy days will get her back on track. Or close to it. Hopeful human, she is.

Missus Lady says that we are joining up at All Seasons, Mosaic Monday, and Say Cheese! (on Tuesday). Come check out the other participants with me.  Thanks to the lovely hosts—Jesh, of All Seasons, Angie, of Mosaic Monday. and Jeana, of Say Cheese! Purrrrrrrrrrrr.

  4. Hey there, Molly, bits of tuna and skritches to you. Your backyard sounds like a wonderland. I remember noting good places in the sidewalk for puddles as a kid, I'd forgotten about that. I'm glad you've got glimpses of the sun, I'm afraid we've had to do without but fog can be fun too. I bet your eyes gleam in the fog. If you get a chance tell the humans I dig their toys and greenery and really like what's going on in the back of the green truck. I know, you're a cat, not an iMessage. Stay dry and aloof my friend.

    1. The green truck is what got Missus Lady all started. Her hands were itchy to be in dirt so she turned the truck into a planter for stray succulents. Before I knew it, she was putting everything in the puddle. Dry and aloof, miao, miao, is me.
