Grrrrr.

This is what I find disgusting and maddening right now: The thuggish oaf in the White House seat telling the hothead of a judge who likes beer that I am sorry his drunken, hostile youth of a life had to be looked at so closely by us.

I am not sorry.

No.

Not at all.

  1. When we get back congress, we need to impeach both Mr. I Like Beer and Thomas while we are at it. We aren't tolerating shit.

  2. Neither am I. I wonder if a SC Justice can be impeached...

    1. They can be impeached but that doesn't mean they would be removed from court if they don't resign.

  3. I only (deliberately) caught bits of the whole debacle, which was enough to sicken me.

    1. Tiny doses at a time was all I took. Gah! I know these guys exist. I truly thought they had diminished in number. On the other hand this could be their last hurrah because they are so few. May it please the court that it be the latter.

  4. a woman in my neighborhood was ranting about the protests against the SP nominee. I just asked, "why are they protesting" to see if she could bring herself, a woman, to say his behavior was okay. She sidestepped, I kept asking, she kept sidestepping til she changed the subject. . Decency should prevail, I imagine there must be conservatives who haven't molested women to nominate,... One can be conservative and decent.
my question is where is the decency. It's so far from decency that I don't know what to do.

    1. And, I bet you asked her politely and nicely, too. Good for you. All we can do is keep our head above water. We've got the strength and fortitude to get through this. We also need to wake up people. My gosh, I can't believe how many people believe the earth is flat!

  5. He acted like he was above being questioned. I hope the Dems win the house and hold a real investigation. Besides the alleged assault, I'm also concerned about his partisan tantrum and lying under oath. I don't expect much from Trump and don't believe anything he says.

    1. Well stated, Colleen. That's how I feel, too. If only there was a way to conduct an investigation into the seemingly large number of instances of inhumanity world-wide. In the Philippines, for example, it astounds me that such a leader managed to rise after People Power, but then people easily forget or they don't believe history.
