A Particular Kid
The other morning I heard "We love rock and roll" coming from a neighbor's house. It was not annoying loud at all.
After the chorus I heard the neighbor's three year old say, "I don't like that song. Turn it off, Mom!"
Ah, that reminds me of my childhood. I remember coming home from school to find the stereo blaring. Probably the Stones or maybe Fleetwood Mac. (I'd've been in elementary school.) Mom. And I went and turned the stereo down.
