The Husband and I like to drink a beer now and then. As for wine, until our anniversary party last September, we rarely popped open a bottle. But, after the party was over, we were left with a bunch of bottles of red, white, and sparkling bubbly. Thank you very much, friends!
A few months ago I saw a video on how to use wine bottles to create a garden border. Now you know why there's a line of bottles growing in our front yard. Giggle.
Hmm, that is interesting. Sometimes it is embarrassing all the clink clink clink of wine and beer bottles tumbling out of our recycle container into the collection truck.
ReplyDeletelol. So true.
Deletedoesn't take many friends to drink all the booze
ReplyDeleteYou've got that right. :-)
DeleteWow! I wonder what happens when they start sprouting? :)
ReplyDeleteAs long as it's not whining.
DeleteBwhahahahaha!!! :D
DeleteLove the whimsy! Better than dropping them all in the recycle bin and a reminder of a fun party (and fun evenings at home). Have you seen those bottle trees? Made of wine bottles, usually blue ones, and supposed to bring good luck.
ReplyDeleteI thought about making a bottle tree, but afraid of the bottles dropping, thus going with something a bit safer. So I did. I have a blue bottle of vodka that will go marching in line once I make some limoncello.
DeleteI love this! You've got a friendly and tipsy little garden.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great name for this section of the yard--The Tipsy Plot. Thank you much, Jeanna!
DeleteFriends are always helpful with beer and wine bottles :-) to empty them :-)
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are!
