Friday's Hunt 2.6

The cues for this week's Friday's Hunt, hosted by Teresa of Eden Hills, are: 1) Starts with F  2) Week's Favorite  3) Shiny

It's been a busy week—high school class reunion stuff (45 years! Tonight is our dinner-dance.)—so I'm doing a stretch with my entry by using a photo I've posted last year. This morning I was looking at the print of it on our kitchen wall and thinking this is one of my favorite photos. Light bulb! I have my week's favorite photo.

Some of you are familiar with the Husband, and maybe even this photo. There you go: Familiar.

Shiny—the sunlight reflecting on the creek.

  3. Wow, 45 years ago for Susie. I remember my 50th, the first I attended. They are a lot of fun, seems most of the others have been aged a whole bunch.
I really like your kitchen picture, it is lovely for a print. And it meet all three requirements!!!
    Have a nice outing,

    1. Thanks, Jim. The band was rocking. Several of the guys have been together for 30+ years. Most of us were singing with them as we bopped up and down on the dance floor. Lots of fun.

    1. Thanks, G. It's the west side of Big Basin, only a couple miles from the beach.

  5. What a pretty setting for a photo.

Have fun at your reunion. My class has had one reunion years ago and I didn't make it. I think it was the 25th. There hasn't been another one. This year it would have been 52. Guess we weren't a very close class.

    1. I had a grand time--it was a 3-day event. We are fortunate to have people take over the planning when others step down. We hold one every 5 years. I've worked on the last 3.

  6. This is a really nice photo. I like the way the sun reflects in the creek and your hubby enjoying a walk. Hope you have a great time at your high school reunion. It will be interesting to catch up I am sure.

    1. Thanks, Birgit. The reunion was lots of fun. I always love the surprises--the ones who you haven't seen since 8th or 12th grade. There were a few of them this time. And the band. You would've loved the band. Old fogeys like ourselves who play our music with passion and joy.

  7. I like how you wrapped all three in one photo. Enjoy your reunion!

  8. Very wise of you to send the Husband off across a rather rickety looking footbridge. :)

  9. The best yet, but then I say that about every reunion. And, mean it. :-)

  10. Well, I was not familiar with this one, but it is a great photo! Sounds like a great time with the reunion. I admit, my five-year was the last I attended. We just had our 30th this year. Yikes! Thanks so much for joining Friday's Hunt. Have a great week!
