Pay Attention to Me!

Last night, Molly the Cat plopped in front of me and stretched as far as she could.

"You will do no more computer work," Molly said, thumping her tail on the keyboard whenever I reached for it. "None what so ever."

The Husband and I were gone the whole day, playing with friends at the coast. It was a kayaking adventure, perfect for the hot summer day. Not to worry, the Husband and Gerry the Pacemaker stayed ashore. Once the Husband can handle it, I have plans for us to go kayaking.

Molly the Cat simply has to get used to us going out, and I have to get used to her cutting me off from the computer on those going-out days.

Today, I'm linking up at Seasons, a weekly meme hosted by Jeanette of St Germain's Blog. Click here to join in (which is open until Wednesday) or to read other posts.

    1. I suppose I ought to be flattered that if the Husband is at his desk, Molly the Cat chooses to interrupt me. :-)

Are you still doing that bike event or is that over now? Yeah I've heard cats can be pretty demanding! Many thanks for sharing this for SEASONS!

    1. The bike challenge goes to September. I haven't ridden my bike in 3 weeks. The Husband, the hot temps, and working around the house have distracted me. I need to get back soon on the bike. I'm wondering if all these weird dreams I've been having is because I haven't been writing.

  3. Hi Su-sieee,
I can emphasise with you Chloe the cat sits on my lap most of the morning when I am on my PC, for some reason or other she does not like any sound coming from it and bops the keyboard with her big white fist trying to hit the silence key!As if to say!"Silence please I'm snoozing"!

    1. hahahaha. My first house cat, Lionel, was like Chloe. He was attracted to my typewriter. He'd let me type one or two lines before he'd try to walk on the keyboard. After awhile I'd put him in my bedroom and close the door, letting him out when I was done. I forgot about that.

  4. Cats may have invented the interwebz, but that doesn't mean it is to be used when pats are required. :)

    1. Thanks goodness, Molly the Cat, lets us watch TV. Sometimes I think she's watching it with us by the way she holds her head.

  7. I love how cats start to walk right in front of what you are reading and often lay right on top of it. We allow it too:) My hubby would be envious as he is longing to go kayaking and will soon.
