This afternoon I bought a very large burlap sack at our favorite cafe for $5.41. (What a deal!) It once held coffee beans from India.
Now, what shall I do with it? Use it as a canvas? Sew tote bags? Make a skirt? Cover a box? What?
What would you create with this beautiful, very large burlap sack?
Oh My Goodness - i can't wait to see what you'll do next . . . giggleReplyDelete
It may be awhile before this becomes something. The sack got me to remember the Mama sewing a burlap dress for me in grammar school for an Indian skit.Delete
You are very creative so I will look forward to what you will create with this. I see it as a canvasReplyDelete
I've got glitter sticks and enamel paint in a bag behind me for another project. Maybe they want to find their way to the sack.Delete
...I have an idea, but I do not want to murder the excitement!ReplyDelete
This is my last comment in THIS year. So I say: have a good time and until january! P.
Awww. I want to know. Have a great time-off, P. Happy Christmas!Delete
Split the side seams, weave some sticks through either end, voila! Instant hammock. I made one when I was a kid, swung in it until it rotted away. Unfortunately I was in it at the time. Fortunately I had just moved it from very high up in my favourite tree to about 40 centimeters (1'6") of the ground.ReplyDelete
Oooh, I can see that, Widders. That would make a great kid's book. hint, hint.Delete
Oh that is a great item and I now you will use your creative genius to make the perfect thing from it! Enjoy your Wednesday!ReplyDelete
I appreciate your faith in my creativeness. It still graces the drawing board waiting patiently.Delete
