The Husband thought the photo was that of a cave. Nope. It's the hollow of the mighty old oak tree that I shared in last week's The Weekend in Black and White.
And, that's where I am again, today. To participate in this Friday meme hosted by Dragonstar, or to check out black and white photos from bloggers around the world, click here.
That is lovely! The textures are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt was a treat to look into the tree and find this staring up at me.
DeleteWow. Like a fairy cave in a tree. Intriguing.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I like that. Yes, definitely a fairy cave.
DeleteWell done. It's nothing like a hollowed tree. It looks more like a magical cave.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from BLACK AND WHITE WEEKEND.
FRANKLY MY DEAR
A magical fairy cave. Messages ought to be left there.
DeleteTruly magical.
ReplyDeleteEven better in person.
DeleteIt almost looks like a cave. I would love to see this tree in person.
ReplyDeleteI don't think many people realize the hidden beauty of that tree.
DeleteThis is just amazing!!

DeleteMy first impression was that I look into a cave. What a majestic tree it must have been.
ReplyDeleteIt still lives. It's in a parking lot now. I think it will outlive the parking lot.
DeleteNice picture, an interesting hole!
