The holiday started off grandly as the Husband and I pedaled our bicycles a mile away to watch the annual Fourth of July Kiddie Parade. It's the cutest, sweetest, shortest, and quickest parade in town. It's my favorite for all those reasons. If you'd like to see more photos of parade, click here.
Until later.
Well that is a nice way to spend your day:)
ReplyDeleteI big-time like that kiddie parade. We don't have small children in our lives to cooo and ooh over so I get to do that at this parade. I was walking next to a police officer and exclaimed to him, as I pointed to the fire truck,"oooh, isn't that cute. Stay 50 feet behind."
DeleteThat's the way I like parades- short and sweet! That's a cute little fire truck.
ReplyDeleteThis year, you could've blinked and missed this one.
DeleteHappy Birthday USA.
ReplyDeleteA short parade if a good parade.
ReplyDeleteThe last Pride parade we went to in Vancouver was over two hours long, and we'd been sitting on our bums for a couple of hours before that just to make sure we got a good spot. It was worth it, but we decided to take a break for a couple of years - time for our tushes to recover!
That's funny--taking a break for your tushes to recover. :-)
