The Dude, The Husband -- So Irreverent

My new Thursday thing is all about the dude in my life, the one I call the Husband. He said I may, and I believe he heard me when I asked if I can feature him weekly on this blog.

I have a lot of photos of the Dude, the Husband. He has a way of walking into my frame just as I'm clicking the camera.  And, then there's the sudden inspiration either of us get for him to pose a certain way. This photo, today, was his idea.

I'm linking this post of my irreverent husband with Jenny Matlock's Alphabe Thursday. Click here to read other I posts with me.

  1. Susie,

Oh I like this idea! You have a fantastic husband. I know about such men. I have one too. They are such fun. I'm glad my husband isn't shy. Yours doesn't appear to be either. What a great photo! I'm looking forward to seeing more.

  4. Funny guy-I love it. I feel there is a silent movie waiting to be done. I picture a little dog coming out from the fence. This is fun and can't wait for the next pic

  6. Hi Susie ~~ I'm liking your Dude, I think this will be a fun blog theme. Both for you to write and for us to read. Your blog is nice and I can tell that you work hard to cultivate blogging friends.

My blog used to be posted almost every day since December 2005 but I seem to not have time for that anymore. Too I have lost soooo many readers, a lot to Facebook (some are my FB friends now), five have died, others just don't blog anymore. My blog now has four readers. Some more read it from Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/jim.hovendick) as every post also goes their via NetworkedBlogs, as well as my other blog that is mostly all poetry anymore.

Mrs. Jim doesn't mind me posting pictures of her, she asks two things, (1) that I don't use her real name, hence her title, "Mrs. Jim"; and (2) that I get her 'permission' to post her picture, that has now degraded to my 'telling' her that her picture is on so that she can ask me to delete or change it if she doesn't like it.
My poetry blog, Jim's Little Photo and Poem Place, I write with two poetry writing groups and most all of the regulars on those two are 'friends'. A few, like me, write with both groups.

Just a few ideas to stay "on the air/(Internet) with readers. I think the ABC Wednesday is a good idea but again for that my personal schedule won't allow.
