Rock Faces & Figures

Did you think I was going to talk about rock and roll stars? Hahaha. Nope.

I'm talking about actual rocks. Granite—or are they basalt?—rocks that edge the ocean shorelines, to be precise. But, my question can be about rock formations anywhere. That question: Do you ever see faces in rocks? How about figures?

Here's what I saw at the rocky shoreline in Monterey recently.

    1. I wonder if the terrier profile I see is what you see as a horse. If it is, the horse's head is the big nose. The guy's eye is just above it to the left.

    2. Ahah! .. Yep, it's a rare and very reclusive Terriorse, and Mr Big Schnoz.

  4. I can see your last 2 but I don't see a schnozolla one. My eyes are so bad, I'm lucky to see the rocks. :)

    1. See the crack at the top left that looks like an eye. Right below it is the nose. :-)

  5. I find most farms always look like a face too. It's always fun to spot these types of things and let our imaginations wander.

    Have fun with a-z.
