In my mind, I'm five years old having a high old time wandering and wondering. In reality, I'm now in my late 60s, wowza! I tell you a lot of creativity is still to be found in this old young self. In you, too, whatever your age. Welcome to my barefoot world!

Day 9 with Tilda-Hilda
Tilda-Hilda and I rode almost 10 miles today. Yay!
Today is National Doughnut Day. I didn't stop for doughnuts. Yay!
Oh I Love you Tilda HIlda! 10 miles. what a girl. I so need to start riding my bike. I hope I won't be workin' after July so I'll be joinin'. Not sure I'll get 10 miles though. Thanks for coming by my carrot post.
I thought about getting a donut today since I do not eat donuts often, but I decided not to. I made some cranberry applesauce cake instead, which was sweet, but less sugary than a donut. I love your bike and the view on your ride. I too ride a bike each day, but unfortunately my bike can only go on city streets as I would get flat tires. However, I did ride my bike up to a nature park and I went for a nice hike yesterday.
Your cake sounds quite yummy and more so than a doughnut. I forgot all about doughnuts when we went out to do errands and by the time I remembered after lunch, I was too lazy to go back out.
Tilda-Hilda and I love going places where people think beach cruisers are out of place. Ever since she started wearing heavy inner tubes and goop, she has gotten fewer flats. I'm also better at looking at her tires for goat heads after or before a ride.
Your bike is quite a beauty! 10 miles- that's a bunch.
ReplyDeleteTilda-Hilda thanks you, Norma. The girl is almost 12 years old.

ReplyDeletepost.
Slowly and surely you'll get up to 10. That's what I'm doing.

Donuts go well after some exercise. I love that Tilda-Hilda looks like she is resting too.
ReplyDeleteYeah, she does look like she's resting. :-)
DeleteThat is an Excellent Bike!
ReplyDeleteTilda-Hilda most definitely is, thank you kindly for saying so. :-)
