First Day of Spring 2017

The Mama's purple daisies.
Molly the Cat was right (See yesterday's post).

Primavera. Earrach. Jaro. Molla. Musum semi. Spring!

Our first late afternoon of Spring began with a gentle rain. I got a few plants and a bunch of seeds into the ground just in time. Hurrah!

Here's a little bit of what Spring looks like around our house.

Asian pear blossom.

Volunteer lupine.

Domesticated mustard (not at all tasty like wild mustard).

    1. Thank you, Carol. I must confess that I used Photoshop to crop and enlarge parts of photos I took with my trusty point-and-click camera.

    1. They were a surprise for us this year. I haven't seen them growing along the fence in a few years. It's good to know the seeds are still there and will pop up when the elements are right for them.

  10. Beautiful Spring yard!! Wild mustard tastes better? As salad greens? I'm going to see what it looks like...checking with Mr Google Image as soon as I send this.

  11. To me, wild mustard is the best. Keep in mind, I've eaten it my whole life. There are fewer places where you can harvest wild mustard around here, so I'd thought I plant some in the backyard. Maybe I can find wild mustard seeds.
