Gone Today, Hair Tomorrow

Over an hour ago, I put down the scissors and the Husband had a new look. His beard was trimmed and his long, beautiful locks were no more, which he had been growing for nearly four years. Recall that three weeks ago he cut off mine

Molly the Cat always seems to know when we're doing something interesting. All of a sudden there she was watching us set up the cutting area in the kitchen. She hung out until nearly all of the Husband's hair was on the floor.

She hasn't seen the Husband yet with his new look. We're wondering if Molly the Cat will act shy around the Husband when she finally sees him. She only knows him as a hairy guy.

  1. My son hasn't cut his hair for 4 years, and there is no way I will get him to cut it.

    1. The drought we're going through played a big factor in our decision to cut our hair. I was feeling bad about using up so much water to wash my hair. :-)

  2. Susie,

What a difference. Now you and the Husband are ready for some hot summer weather! I sometimes think it's a pity we can't give our long haired cats a hair cut. They really suffer during summer. They lie splat on the cold tiles, trying to keep cool. I bet they'd love to unzip their coats and step out of them!

    1. I think of that too, giving Molly the Cat a hair cut on very hot days. The poor baby. She does look cute all sprawled on her back, her legs wide open.

  3. What a huge difference! He must be feeling it also:) Our cats always come right up and check everything out when we are in the middle of something

    1. I sometimes pretend that Molly is our supervisor and she's checking that we're doing our jobs right.

    1. Molly was rolling in the Husband's hair for a bit. That was funny.

    1. The Husband commented on how Molly's fur looked a lot like his hair, too.
